Taco Stuffed Shells combine the flavors of tacos with the convenience of pasta shells. This dish is hearty, flavorful, and perfect for a weeknight dinner or entertaining guests.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package 1
- 25 ounces taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup water
- 24 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat
Stir in taco seasoning mix and water
Simmer for 5 minutes
Spread salsa in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish
Fill each cooked pasta shell with the beef mixture and place in the baking dish
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the stuffed shells
Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes
Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly
Serve hot, garnished with sour cream and chopped cilantro
