Ingredients:
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- cup unsalted butter, softened
- cup granulated sugar
- cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- teaspoon baking soda
- teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and creamy
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until smooth
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined
Fold in the old-fashioned oats and dark chocolate chips
Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
