These Orange Brownies are a delightful twist on the classic chocolate version. Theyre moist, citrusy, and perfect for brightening up any day
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan
In a small bowl, whisk together flour and salt
In a separate large bowl, mix together melted butter and sugar until well combined
Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in orange juice and orange zest
Gradually add flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares
